The recent colder winters has seen an increasing amount of UK drivers opting to use both summer and winter tyres. A set of winter tyres can give a car a 4x4 feel and is much safer to use, especially during prolonged bouts of snowfall.
In many European countries it is now law to use two sets of tyres, but with this brings problems of storage.
How To Arrange Car Tyre Storage
Appleyards of Hull are able to store either set of tyres, winter or summer and help arrange for them to be swapped over with your preferred garage or through an arrangement they have with Beverley Motor Works who will provide very competitive prices.
Simply turn up during normal office hours and we can take away your tyres for you. Alternatively we can collect them free of charge from Beverley Motor Works should you choose to use them.
Winter Car Tyre Storage
Most winter tyres are swapped towards the end of October or the beginning of November. Your summer tyres can be brought in at this time whereupon they will be labelled and placed onto dedicated shelving. If you have Winter Tyres already in storage with us we just require 24 hours notice to make these available for you.

Summer Car Tyre Storage
Normally people look to swapping their Winter tyres for their Summer tyres at the end of March or beginning of April. If you have not used Appleyards before then the just turn up with your Winter Tyres so they can be labelled up. If you are looking to swap over your Winter for Summer tyres then please provide 24 hours notice.
Car Tyre Storage Prices
