Boxes You Can Use To Pack Clothes

How to pack clothing and the options for you. There are very few house removals that do not include the packing and removal of clothing. We can help you though.

Its something we all have and need and we all have differing quantities and qualities of it. Appleyards have lots of options for you when it comes to packing and moving clothing.

How To Pack Clothing

Everyday clothing can be packed into almost anything. Suitcases, boxes, bags, strong bin liners and plastic crates are all more than adequate. Sturdy bedside cabinets and chests of drawers can usually be left filled so there is no need to remove your clothes from them.

For hanging clothing it is best to use portable wardrobe cartons. These are very easy to use and allow clothing to remain suspended and will save them having to be ironed.

Shoes and boots can be packed into any size of carton as they are generally light, but keep them in their original boxes if you have them as they will stack better and this will protect them further.

If you are moving overseas or into Europe you should look at using a layflat carton as this will keep clothing flat but will use a lot less space than a hanging wardrobe.

Top Tips When Packing Clothing

If you are looking to buy vacuum bags to put your clothes into, stay clear of the very large bags as they can become very heavy once filled. If moving overseas pack socks into shoes to save on space.
